Ion Exchange Resin Q Aogarose FF strong anionic exchange medium
Q Aogarose FF is a type of strong anionic exchange resin with quaternary amino group: -O-CH2CH(OH)CH2OCH2CHOHCH2N(CH3)3C. It is stable to all commonly used aqueous buffers: 8M urea, 6M guanidine hydrochloride, 70% ethanol,1M NaOH and 1M acetic acid.
Using 6% agarose as matrix, dextran as a linker, it increases surface area of the outer exposed part of functional groups, thereby greatly improving the binding capacity and ensuring capacity of handling sample at high flow rates.
It is applicable to large volume of crude extract or viscous samples, high binding capacity of targeted molecular from the loading sample.
It is applicable to the seperation both for Large-scale industrial level and laboratory level.
Separation of P-lactoglobulin by Q Aogarose FF:
Sample: 10mg/ml P-lactoglobulin;
Binding Buffer: 20mM Piperazine , pH 6.5;
Elution Buffer: 0.3M NaCl, 20mM Piperazine , pH 6.5;
Elution mode: Gradient Elution;
P-lactoglobulin elution peak: 1: β- lactoglobulin B; 2: β- lactoglobulin A.
